Yes...I just pulled out a Dido lyric from my cd vault...Y'all, having this week off has me doing way too much thinking about just how lucky I really am! I have so loved getting to be a day blogger instead of a night blogger and just catching up on my to do's and my don't have to's but want to's. I love down time but I love being productive too. This week was just what I needed to get me refreshed and ready for a great 2 and a half months with my little friends.
On this Spring Break Thursday, I'm thankful for:
My sweet, amazing, ridiculous husband. He knows what to do to make me smile, drive me crazy, make me giggle like a school girl (who ever thought of that phrase anyways) and makes my stomach flip flop like the first time I saw him at the fraternity house. I love him more as each day passes for all of these things and for just supporting, encouraging, and loving the randomness that is me. Marriage is what you make it. The good, the better, and the best.
Our very first picture...ohhh the braces days
A chance to knock off some of my to do's. I love getting to cross things off of my to do list and have so enjoyed having the time to do that this week. From painting our spare bedroom, finishing our taxes and sending those off, to finishing up one of my books I have been wanting to read. It feels good to get to relax but be productive at the same time.
don't mind our awesome carpet.... hello old house with 7 different floors
DIYers that help me get organized....I love getting organized. Huge thanks to Ashley over at Let's Get Bananas for posting her version and getting me on the ball with this Pinterest pin.
Loved, loved, loved this idea and how it turned out!
Beautiful days on the water that remind me how blessed we are to have a boat and be able to enjoy days off together doing something we both love...Michael fishing and me reading books (plus getting a little tan on my pasty face).
No filter needed on the bay
Sunsets that are my constant reminder that every day is different from the next. Each sunrise and sunset is unique in it's own way as are my days on this earth. Getting a little deep here, but I know how precious life is and the sunsets that I get to witness are my reminder that each day is a new day, with new promises, and new memories to be made. Some have a little extra clouds with them, but when that beautiful sun sets, it is my reminder that the day is over and it is time to prepare for a new day filled with new joys and new opportunities.
Sunsets with friends are even better.
I hope you all are having a great week!!
Happy Friday Eve friends.

This is such a sweet post! We have a spare room that I have been meaning to fix up...since we moved here seven months ago. Post a picture when it is done!
This is why I told my boss that we needed a spring break! It would make us much better workers once we got back :)
Yay for a productive (and relaxing!) Spring Break week! I love what you wrote about sunsets - I completely agree! I'm always blown away by the beauty God provides for us - we just have to be willing to open our eyes and it's there!
You are just too cute! I need to try that Pinterest project! Have a great rest of your spring break!
Your man looks like he could be Brad Pitt's brother in that first pic, you two are ADORABLE. So jealous you have this week off of work, does this mean more snapping? ;)
