Ok so I survived the weekend while Michael was in Vegas. Did I pout a little? Yes....I wanted to be at the craps table winning some money. But this lady had some fun and relaxed a little too. It seriously flew by...as all weekends do. I'm excited to link up with my favorite OSU fan Sami on this beautiful Monday morning.
After school, I drove home, packed up Tilly, grabbed my camera and we headed to the beach. I don't utilize how close we are to the pretty, quiet beach so...I figured why not. Tilly had fun, chased birds, and barked at every moving thing there. Such a great, head clearing choice. Yay me. :)
When we got home, Tilly got a bath since she enjoyed rolling around in the sand a little too much. This lady cooked pizza and watched How To Loose a Guy in 10 Days....the perfect end to a fun filled Friday.
Saturday, Tilly and I woke up at...drum roll...5:20. Not ok. We laid in bed, snuggled, and just hung out reading and then got some organizing done. We (and by we I mean I) baked cookies, ate chips and had a dr pepper for breakfast. Woohoo. This is pretty typical though so don't be surprised.
I decided to combine shopping and family...two of my favorite things. Dave had a baseball game about 2 hours away, so I shopped along the way to cheer him and his team on in the championship game of their tourney. He hit a triple and a double on Friday night and a double on Saturday....plus his team won the game. Woohoo.
And was stuck behind this guy pretty much the whole way.... oh Texas rodeo days.
When did this kid grow up on me?! Ridiculous but geez I love him.
I had big plans for Sunday but lets be honest here...the couch and my pjs were just a little too comfy. So Sunday was declared a pj, sweatshirt, couch, and blog/email catch up day. Pretty much my favorite days ever. Luckily, reruns and Wedding Crashers was on so I was pretty busy all day. And again, I didn't want to overwhelm you guys with jealousy so there are no pictures of the productiveness laziness that happened ALL day.
But... the best part of Sunday...Michael came home. I enjoyed my alone time, being lazy but love having him back, even if he goes straight to nights this next week makes my heart happy.

Aww I bet Tilly had a blast at the beach! I think I've seen how to lose a guy in 10 days at least 30 times - love that movie! Glad you had a good weekend :)

My Sunday was similar. I had all these plans to clean and grocery shop...instead I lounged on the couch...haha.

Your weekend sounds amazing! Mine was very similar because my husband got his wisdom teeth out so I just HAD to be lazy on the couch with him and eat ice cream. Haha.
